THOMAS de POURQUERY, ALTO & SOPRANO SAXOPHONESBorn in 1977, simultaneously to his High-Level Cursus in Rugby, Thomas starts Alto Saxophon at the age of 14 years old .The emotion arose with Stefano di Battista’s meeting urged him to prefer music. The same year, he’ll be part of François Jeanneau’s masterclass at the Paris’s National Conservatory of Music and Danse . Meanwhile, he meets Laurent Cugny and becomes integrated in the “Lumière”’s Big Band in January 1999.Crucial meeting. Thomas creates a quintet with Daniel Zimmermann on Trombon, plays in the Andy Emler’s Mégaoctet, in the Antoine Hervé’s Big Band and the National Jazz Orchestra in 2001/2002.
