ANTOINE BANVILLE, DRUMS

Born in 1970, Antoine starts drums at the age of 10. He Follows with Jean-Louis Mechali, famous french drummer and teacher. From his beginnings, Antoine meets lots of musicians from all over the world, like Teofilo Chantre (Capo Verde), Fadella& Sahraoui (Algeria), Daniel Lavoie (Quebec), René Aubry (France). Antoine collaborates to different jazz Projects like : Stéphane Guillaume Quartet (french young sax player), François Verly Quintet ( famous french percussion player), Marc Buronfosse Quartet ( famous french double-bass player), Sergio Gruz Trio( famous argentin piano player), and ILLINX ,his new project featuring Thomas de Pourquery on alto sax.Dance is part of the imaginary of Antoine Banville, as he’s worked with famous french Choreographers, like : Jean-François DUROURE, Jean GAUDIN, Pierre DOUSSAINT, Paco de Cina, among others...
